ÓPTIMA CHEF

Óptima Chef was born after analyzing the situation in professional kitchens

Traditional training does not cover new work methodologies and technological advances.

At Óptima Chef we also teach cooking, but to get there, we will first discuss how to approach a kitchen so that it is profitable and efficient.

We have a catalog of courses with the most demanded trainings, but we also make custom plans according to the client’s needs.

ANDALUCÍA OCCIDENTAL

I studied Cooking and Service at the Heineken-Gambrinus Hospitality School, Pedro Larumbe restaurant. I have over 12 years of experience in managing community dining rooms and banquets. And as a cooking teacher for adults and children. Currently, I also share my passion for applied science in the kitchen as a Training Chef for leading companies in their sector such as Rational, Optima Chef, etc.

Carlos G. Senent

VALENCIA

I have been part of the hospitality world since I was 19 years old. I have a higher degree in Restoration. I have organized and coordinated three kitchens simultaneously, with teams of up to 20 people. I have extensive experience preparing, coordinating, and selling banquets and catering. I have spent 16 years as a cooking instructor and executive chef. I am an expert in traditional Valencian cuisine, especially rice dishes, and also in new culinary technologies, traditional cooking, vacuum cooking, and pastry.

Manu Jerónimo

ANDALUCÍA ORIENTAL

After more than 15 years working in various kitchens, and experiencing gastronomy from Catalonia to Andalusia, passing through the Balearic Islands, I have decided to combine all my experience and my passion for cooking to provide it to training.

Currently, I am a Consulting Chef for leading companies in the sector, such as Rational, Optima Chef…

And I am here to help you optimize the resources in your kitchen.

Ramón Álvarez

MADRID

Roger Julián

VALENCIA

I am a chef by vocation with more than 18 years of experience in the sector. I started my training in 2001 at the Valencia School of Hospitality.

After those beginnings, I added to my experience by working in the kitchens of restaurants such as LA SUCURSAL (1 Michelin Star in 2005), Gastronomic Restaurant APICIUS, Santi Santamaría’s EVO Restaurant (1 Michelin Star), and important hotel chains such as HESPERIA, WESTIN, LAS ARENAS…

Currently, I am the owner of the Simposio Restaurant where we work with a market cuisine and proximity in a gastronomic concept.

Neftalí Luis

CANARIAS

I studied Cooking and Dining at the Canarias Hotel School. After working in various kitchens in different areas such as Cadiz, Galicia, Antwerp, Barcelona… I ended up as a head chef in Luxembourg. I was a professor of Gastronomic Innovation at the SC Hotel School.

Currently, I am an advisor to 5 restaurants, a food industry company, and a hospitality machinery company.
I’m also a freelancer and collaborate with companies like Rational, Pujadas, Mimcook, and Pacojet.

Sergi Urgell

CATALUNYA

He has a great career in the hospitality industry.

He began training as a waiter in 1993. In 1996, he opened his own business, specializing in take-out food. In 2001, he opened a second prepared food store. In 2012, motivated by his passion for cooking, he opened his own restaurant.

From there, motivated by his passion for cooking and vacuum cooking, he began in the world of Rational (2017), Freelance trainer, and today with high knowledge in cooking processes and specialized in training Rational teams.

With more than 10 years of experience in the gastronomy sector, especially in restaurants and communities.
I am co-owner of a restaurant in Granada and also a consultant for another restaurant.

Currently, I share my passion for cooking as a trainer at Óptima Chef.

Pablo Arbesú

GALICIA, ASTURIAS Y LEÓN

I have over 20 years of experience in professional certificate training, continuous training and consulting for catering and food industry companies. In addition, I have worked as a Rational freelancer for 8 years.

Marc Sans

BARCELONA

I studied Technical in Hospitality at the IES Peña-Castillo in Cantabria. I have a professional experience of 30 years in kitchens, both in a la carte Restaurants, catering and banquets. During these years I have combined my job as a cook with that of a teacher, teaching both Cooking and Pastry professionalism certificates. Currently, I combine my job as a teacher at the hospitality school with Óptima Chef and Rational.

Diego Padilla

CATALUÑA

Chef with more than 15 years in the sector, I have experience in 5* hotels, gourmet restaurants and catering.

Ángel Benavente

CANARIAS

I completed my studies in cooking and pastry at the “Hurtado de Mendoza” School of Hospitality in Granada. For 40 years (since I started my studies), I have professional experience in the restaurant world and currently I am dedicated to teaching as a Technical Teacher of Vocational Training in Hospitality and Tourism (Cooking and Pastry).

In addition, I have been collaborating with the Rational company since 2009.

Gonzalo Diestro

PAÍS VASCO Y CANTABRIA
